BIOGRAPHY -

Steve came on staff in August 2006 as a program facilitator at Sanctuary West, the employment training arm of Sanctuary Ministries. He oversees the administrative duties and noon meal preparation there as well as being a chaplain and leader in the woodworking and mechanical areas of the shop. He also takes an active role in helping at the Thursday night drop-in meal and facilitating any practical work around the buildings that comes to his attention.

Steve's previous journey led him through a career in long distance trucking, 7 years as a production controller in a manufacturing facility and finally the distinct calling of God to be involved in ministry at Sanctuary. Steve has a passion for spiritual freedom to be birthed in people and has worked as an Alpha leader and men's small group leader for many years. He moved to Toronto from Smiths Falls, ON with his wife, Beth and son Daryl. Still in Eastern Ontario are daughter Katie and her husband, Jon and son Shane. Steve loves to ride his Triumph motorcycle and fix everyone else's motorcycles with e-Bay parts. Camping, sailing and pedal biking are relaxing for him.
